Living with Cats
Exotic Shorthair and Persian cats are easy to maintain
Cats are naturally clean animals.
Persian cats do need to have their coats brushed regularly to show at their best. Both Exotic Shorthair and Persian cats need to have their eyes and faces cleaned daily. However, they do not need to be bathed more than once every few weeks to remain clean and sweet smelling.
Toilet training is easy.
Cats do not need to be trained to use their litter boxes. By the time kittens are ready to be join your family, they will have learned to use their litter boxes. Cleaning out a litter box is straightforward and takes only a few minutes.
Cats are independent.
Cats do not require you to exercise them. Although they love playing with you, they are equally contented to hang out with you quietly while you carry out your daily activities. Occasionally, they may try and help as you work on your laptop.
Cats purr when they are happy.
This is very gratifying for owners. Research has shown that the vibrations emitted by a cat's purr can lower blood pressure, lessen stress, and even promote healing.
Cats are quiet creatures.
This is especially true for Exotic Shorthairs and Persians. Female cats in heat do yowl and cry a fair bit but this should not be an issue if they have been sterilized.
Cats take up very little room.
All they need is their litter boxes, their feeding bowls, and your lap to curl up in.
Cats are happy indoors.
Exotic Shorthairs and Persians are perfectly content indoors and do not need to be taken for walks. Staying indoors keeps them clean and free from all sorts of pests and parasites.
Cat’s tails tell a tale.
This helps you read their moods.
Whenever we have kittens for sale, we will post their information on our Kittens page. To view them, please make an appointment.
Viewings are strictly for purchase of kittens. We are not a licensed pet café and cannot host play sessions except for prospective owners.
